About Kauai Design
As creative director for Kauaʻi Design, I've collaborated
with hundreds of individuals and organizations over 25+
years, designing logos, brochures, rack cards, letterhead,
business cards, print ads, digital ads, invitations, menus,
posters, reports, programs, packaging, mailers, signage,
vehicle wraps, book covers, booklets, forms, flyers, t-shirts
After years dabbling in the visual arts, I plunged into
digital design when personal computers were just going
mainstream. I launched my first design studio in California's Napa Valley in 1996, and relocated to Kauaʻi in 2001.
The University of Hawaii recruited me to teach Graphic Design courses at my local campus in 2018, which renewed and intensified my appreciation for the power of strategic design to show and tell and influence an audience.
My studies in applied sales psychology (copy writing + strategic design) and small business marketing add value to the collaboration for a lot of my clients.

A signed copy of the proposal and a deposit are requested to start work, with the balance of payment due upon delivery of the final approved artwork.
On some projects, illustrators, photographers, web developers, or other creatives are brought on board to lend their expertise.
