Logo design

Bow-nanas. designer and manufacturer of a high end line of hair accessories for kids. Napa, California.

Develop a fun, stylistic logotype for use in product displays.

A loose, flowing bow as the dominant element
and initial cap, complemented by a ribbon-like typestyle.

Bow-nanas was in the process of moving into the wholesale distribution of its product line, which inspired its new graphic identity.

Using Adobe Illustrator, a clipart image of a bow was edited and redrawn into a capital "B" shape. The expansive tails on the "B" were later tamed to a flatter shape for hot stamping on 3/8" ribbon.
